Tomas Sipos, Eng. MBA
Tomas Sipos brings his extensive experience in guiding corporate development and IPOs to the strategizing and guidance of Optimind Pharma. He has applied his MBA from the University of Toronto in various positions, guiding successful corporate development strategies in previous roles as VP M&A at Ernst & Young, and strategizing investments at the IFC. With his current position as a current Director at CSE:PMED and previously CFO at Pistil Partners, he has proven time and again his ability to read the markets for best positioning.
Dr. Mike Hart, M.D
Dr. Mike Hart is well-known for his outspoken advocacy for medicinal cannabis, with both a medical degree from the Saba School of Medicine in the Netherlands Antilles (2010) and a family medicine residency from Western University (2012). He founded the first physician-led Cannabis Clinic in London Ontario. In 2016, he founded the Readytogo Medical Clinic and remains their lead physician and medical director, bringing both that clinic and his experience to Optimind.
Anna Freeman has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, and specialized in Native Social Housing. She has performed instrumental roles in strategizing with prominent Reserves and Territories in Eastern and Central Canada. An avid strategic fundraiser, she’s well-established in the political and corporate arena, and brings all that along with her expertise in negotiation to the table.
Blake Freeman is a proud Mohawk from the Territory of Kanesatake. He is a McGill alumnus with an academic background involving antopolgoical Native studies and psychology, which began his interest in blending holistic Native cultural practices with scientific-based therapeutics for mental disorders. He is presently applying that passion in his position as President of Manitari Pharma.
Amanda Freeman is an avid conservationist and mental hygiene advocate, with a particular focus on the disproportionate impact of mental health issues on First Nations. She has a degree in Psychology from McGill university, with a scientific background focusing on epigenetics and its involvement in HPA-axis dysregulation and its effect on anxiety and depression.
Dr. Arun Chauhan
Dr. Chauhan has been an advocate of the global health eco-system throughout his career, as both a physician and as a leader in various critical entrepreneurial ventures improving the management of the UK healthcare market. Currently the founder and Chief Executive at Vital Healthcare Group UK, his expertise in Health IT and Management is an incredible asset to Optimind Pharma’s proprietary protocols.
John Mutton is the President and CEO of MuniSol Inc. and Municipal Solutions Energy and Infrastructure LLC. His exceptional service representing fusion energy internationally at the G8 earned him his 2014 Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal. He’s continually levered his BSc Economics and Executive Masters in Municipal Management in advising the development of successful public-private partnerships.
Hon. Tony Clement, P.C.
The Honourable Tony Clement is known for having served as Minister of Health in the federal government in 2006, and his successful political career spanning 30+ years. Not only has he developed policy for economic growth, and pandemic management, he now contributes his experience to various psychedelic medical companies, and also advises major aerospace manufacturer Arnprior Aerospace.
Dr. D. DeCunha, Psychologist
Dr. Dawn DeCunha has been a practicing Clinical Psychologist for over 20 years. She has extensive knowledge in the assessment and treatment of complex issues in Trauma through the lifespan. She is also an Educational Psychologist, and has an interest in School related problems (behavioural, learning and social/emotional adjustment). Dr. DeCunha works with Complex Family issues and writes reports for legal purposes (Custody & Access, Parenting Capacity, and Medical-Legal). Her treatment modalities are primarily Cognitive and Behavioural, Mindfulness and Somatically based interventions. She has been qualified as an Expert in Treatment and Intervention in Childhood Trauma, Treatment and Intervention in Child Maladaptive Behaviour, Assessment of Attachment, and Assessment of Childhood Trauma.
